The position

As Project Manager for platform projects, you will be responsible for selected projects aimed at creating solutions supporting automation, digitalization, standardization, connecting products and services.

You will have the opportunity to work with highly innovative individuals, software developer, It-specialists and clinicians and many more, as you safely navigate and manage multi-site projects with stakeholders from across the Vitrolife Group.

Your tasks as project manager
Project planning:

  • Define Project Scope together with the main stakeholders, clearly outline the objectives, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Create project plan: Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes timelines, resources, milestones, and tasks.
  • Budgeting: Estimate costs and manage the project budget.

Project team leadership:

  • Team building: Assemble the right team with the skills needed for the project.
  • Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication among all team members, stakeholders, and sponsors.
  • Motivation and support: Provide leadership, guidance and ensure that motivation is high and performance on track.

Execute and monitor:

  • Task assignment: Assign tasks to team members and ensure they understand their responsibilities.
  • Monitor progress: Track the progress of tasks, milestones, and overall project performance.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Adapt and solve issues as they arise.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the project outputs meet quality and design control standards.

Communication and stakeholder management:

  • Manage expectations: Engage with stakeholders regularly to keep them informed and aligned with the project’s direction.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and changes to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

You are a strong project manager who has a good understanding of both project management and product- and service development. You have a natural ability to communicate clearly and precisely and can easily create an overview of complex projects. Additionally, you excel at navigating between different professional groups and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goal.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably from running integrated product development projects (Hardware and Software)
  • Strong competencies in stakeholder management.
  • Insight into software development, preferably within the healthcare sector or similar complex systems.
  • Knowledge of BI systems and an understanding of workflows and process optimization, with a pronounced business-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to cut through when necessary.
  • A natural ability to set direction and ensure progress in projects.
  • Enjoys innovation and being technically challenged
  • Effortless Danish and English, verbally and in writing
  • Technical background
  • Experience with Stage gate models (from a highly regulated environment is a plus)
  • Experience with MS project is a plus
  • Insight into software development is a plus
  • Enjoys a laugh and spending time with your colleagues
