We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Sales Director, motivated and able to take the front lead and management of sales efforts and activities on the international markets and transform Sterisafe from a startup to a target and focused sales-oriented company. 

STERISAFE ApS is a successful health-tech company with high ambitions to lead the revolution in upgrading the environmental hygiene methods in the healthcare segment, as well as in other industries. With a strong background in science and engineering, the STERISAFE team brings together the latest findings and innovations in health technology and IoT in developing and market a superior and unique disinfection solution.

Located on the campus of the University of Copenhagen and in the heart of Copenhagen Science City since 2014, STERISAFE develops unique and patented technologies to perform effective, safe, and rapid automated room disinfection. The company have been successful introducing their products on the international markets. Sterisafe has a professional ownership and is preparing to be listed on the Copenhagen Nasdaq this autumn.

Job Description:

The Sales Director position is newly created to ensure both a strong daily management of the company’s small but vital sales organization and boost the continuous development of the strategies and sales approach to the international healthcare, facility management, food, and equipment supplier markets for disinfection.

The Sales Director shall manage a small staff of presently 4 employees and at the same time be the hands-on initiator and frontrunner of the direct international sales activities. You will define the sales strategy in accordance with the targets and the vision of the company. And you will manage the sales team and ensure that they perform according to the defined sales strategy and budget. In parallel, you will be directly involved in generating sales leads, follow up on opportunities and generate sales to both existing and new partners, primarily key- and large accounts.

The Sales Director will become a key player in this next journey of the international expansion, where the tasks and responsibilities are expected to expand likewise.

Extensive travel activities must be expected.


  • You have a strategic and commercial mindset with a proven track record of international sales of devices and hardware, preferably from MedTech or healthcare
  • Fluent in Danish and English both spoken and written
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to represent STERISAFE at a senior level, on the international stage.
  • Strong sales profile and a dedicated mindset – willing to walk the mile
  • Customer oriented with a natural ability to identify and analyze the market’s needs and translate it to an adequate value proposition and a sales offering
  • Profound experience and knowledge in defining and executing sales strategies

You inspire by fronting activities and thrive in both formal and informal business environments and know that results come from a focused and dedicated effort.

Employment model

The salary consists of an attractive package of a fixed salary, bonus, and stock options. The company will assist applicants in the relocation to Copenhagen in finding suitable housing if necessary.
