SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Are you experienced in purchase, logistics and inventory management and have what it takes to be the new Supply Chain Manager in Alumichem? You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our supply chain operations. From sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to our customers, you will play a critical role in optimizing inventory efficiency, minimizing costs, and together with the stakeholders ensure seamless coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be to develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process and improve overall efficiency. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing. Oversee inventory management to minimize stockouts while minimizing excess inventory. Coordinate with internal teams such as production and sales to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation and warehousing operations. You will be leading a small operational team of 3 to coordinate and drive supply chain operations, improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
You will be based in Kalundborg but should expect weekly travels to HQ in Birkerød.

Qualifications

You have a proven experience in supply chain management with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. Extensive understanding of purchase, logistics and inventory management and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools and demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of successfully leading a small team to achieve common goals. If you have experience from the chemical industry, it is certainly an advantage. If not, we would still like to hear from you.
